Here's how to Become an Emergency University Instructor

Step One

Complete and submit instructor application. Download application form here.

Submit the signed and completed Emergency University Instructor Application to Emergency University's Instructor Credentialing Department via fax at (650) 365-9374 or mail to:

Step Two

Review and print instructor training and quality assurance documents. These documents ensure consistent, high-quality training.

You will receive access to these documents upon receipt of Instructor Application.

Step Three

Review Emergency University's online CPR, AED, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens training courses.

You will receive access to CPR, AED, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens training modules upon receipt of Instructor Application.

Step Four

Review state of the art specialized instructor development and enhancement training modules online to ensure quality classroom performance.

You will receive access to online instructor training modules upon receipt of Instructor Application.

Step Five

Complete 5 blended training classes with a mentor instructor. Participate in a progressive one-on-one mentorship program. For the first 3 classes, you will assist the lead instructor. For the last 2 classes, you will be the lead instructor and the mentor instructor will serve as your assistant.

Step Six

Complete final training review over the phone with Emergency University's training director.
