A score of 80% or higher is required to pass. Upon completion of our training courses, a pop-up box will appear informing you that you have either passed or that you need to repeat the training and/or testing module(s). In addition, on your home training page titled "Welcome to your Interactive Training Center", a pass bar will light up when you have successfully completed the course. Next to the pass bar, a Print Cert bar will also appear allowing you to print your certificate. We recommend taking the practice test as many times as you need, before taking the final test at the end of the course. You will be able to complete the test as many times as you would like in order to obtain your certificate and learn the material.

Yes. Research recommends at least quarterly to biannual review of CPR and AED training. All of our course offerings include refresher training to ensure skills retention. Frequent Refresher Training is Required to Competently Perform CPR and Operate an AED.

Upon completion of our online training program, you will receive a completion certificate that you can print out immediately. If you later misplace this certificate or if you are unable to print one, please contact us via email at info@emergencyuniversity.com and we will be happy to email, fax or mail it to you within 3-5 business days upon receipt of your request. No. The online program replaces paper documents. All the instruction is included in our online training program. You will pass out skills check-off sheets that can be downloaded from the Instructor Only portion of our website.

Please call Emergency University and let us know how many certification cards you need. You will be provided one certification card for each of the enrollments that you purchase.

To track your student's online training, visit our homepage at http://www.emergencyuniversity.com, click "ADMIN" located at the TOP RIGHT HAND corner of the page. Enter your login information and click "Login". Select "Training Reports" for the enrollment, training, testing and pass date of your trainees. For more detailed training results, select "Manage Training", "View Training Reports", and "Individual Reports" for a list of all your responders (Click on the trainee's user id for a complete individual report of their training). We also suggest that you instruct your students to print out their Emergency University completion certificate of their cognitive skills and bring it to the hands-on skills verification class.

To enroll new student's into the online training programs, visit our homepage at http://www.emergencyuniversity.com, click "ADMIN" located at the TOP RIGHT HAND corner of the page. Enter your login information and click "Login". Next, select "Manage Training", then "Manage Trainee Records", then "Enroll New Trainee." Select the appropriate Company, enter the following information for your trainee:

1. User Id
2. Password
3. First Name, Last Name
4. Email (highly preferred)

Once you have entered the required trainee information, select the appropriate training license from the list of available programs under "Product licenses available to assign to this trainee". If applicable, select the appropriate AED device, under "Select AED device for training". Next, click "Add". A "Welcome" email will be sent automatically to your trainee with login instructions. If you selected, "No E-mail", the "Welcome" email will be sent to your e-mail address.

To allow the student to set his/her own password, enter the student's email address as his/her original password. The trainee's User ID and Password will default to his/her email address. Upon logging into the training for the first time, the trainee will be prompted to set a new password.

You may make other changes to your account under "Manage Trainee Records" including "Editing Existing Trainees" and "Adding training programs to an existing trainee".

Hands-on skills verification is intended to ensure that the student is competent and confident in performing his/her skills. It is up to you, the instructor, to determine whether a student has achieved that goal. Feedback from instructors who currently use "blended training" is that approximately 10 students can achieve a satisfactory level of performance per hour using one instructor.

We recommend the same ratio in the 1 hour skills verification class that you currently use for your traditional classroom instruction.
