Regulation

A person who has received basic emergency care training for cardiac arrest may provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use a fully automatic defibrillator. Basic emergency care training for cardiac arrest means a course that includes instruction on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the operation and use of a fully automatic external defibrillator and is conducted in accordance with guidelines of the American hear Association by a person qualified by training or experience.

EU Solution

Emergency University provides CPR and manufacturer specific AED training which is developed in accordance with the guidelines published by the American Heart Association and ILCOR (International Liaison Committee On Resuscitation). All EU instructors must show proof of a valid Nationally recognized instructor card and must be in good standing with their certifying agency.
