Non-Medical Emergency Response Program
The Federal Insurance and Mitigation Administration has documented that your company will save $4+ dollars for each dollar spent preparing for emergencies. Since emergencies are unpredictable, complex and chaotic, establishing an emergency response program for non-medical emergencies in the workplace can be complicated.
To be effective, role-based emergency action plans must be practical and immediately accessible during an emergency. All members of your organization, not just leadership, must be able to communicate, to receive and relay critical information. There must be a mechanism for injured parties to request assistance. Your general workforce must receive basic training in the principles of evacuation, sheltering, and hiding, and be familiar with their evacuation routes and other critical locations. Your trained responders must receive practical training consistent with their roles and responsibilities and have ready access to critical emergency equipment.
In this uncertain world, Emergency University will work with you to transform this complex and chaotic process into manageable tasks, so that should the unexpected occur, every member of your company achieves safe passage.
