June 8, 2015 – Redwood City, Calif. – Emergency University, a pioneer in emergency response systems, technologies and emergency medical training, will present "Is Your Emergency Response Plan a Living System or Just Gathering Dust?" on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the National ASSE Safety 2015 Professional Development Conference & Exposition in Dallas, Texas. • Thomas T. Holloway, Ph.D., Manager of Employee Safety and Health Services in the Air Traffic Organization of the Federal Aviation Administration, Washington, DC. During his tenure, the FAA’s Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) programs have installed more than 1,300 AEDs and enrolled over 20,000 volunteer lay rescuers at over 250 sites.
• Odelia Braun M.D., J.D., Medical Director at Emergency University. Dr. Braun is a board-certified Emergency Physician/Attorney who has done extensive research in all areas of cardiac resuscitation, including developing emergency response systems and training programs that create willing and able responders.
• Frank J. Poliafico R.N., Director of Training for Emergency University. Formerly the Director of New York City Emergency Medical Services, Poliafico is dedicated to teaching the importance of emergency medical preparation, as well as consulting and designing emergency care and response training programs for corporate and government agencies. Poliafico oversees the FAA’s SCA response program that provides specialized training and orientation for FAA employees.
